The Director, Project Solutions and Development will lead global efforts to optimize project offerings and create project scope with maximum project returns from opportunity inception through project approval. The incumbent will lead cross functional efforts to meet business needs to ensure the most competitive balance of: Business objectives fit with technology and engineering options available Technology selection both within the company as well as externally Process designs for application of the chosen technology Realistic but aggressive cost estimates and Project execution strategies This role will require application of cross functional skills and leadership to create project offerings that not only meet business objectives but create maximum business value. The role will directly manage a small team of direct reports and will lead virtual teams in early project development (Pre-FEED) through FEED and project approval. Discipline engineers (Process, Mechanical and Process Controls) Operations professionals Product Managers Planning and Supply Chain This individual must be recognized as an expert and a highly skilled influencer within the organization. Key customers are company’s Marketing and Product Management, Production, and Product Management. This position is based in Korea and reports to the Vice President of Engineering. How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Direct management of a small team of 3-5 direct reports (Project Managers, Cost Estimator(s) and Scheduler(s)) • Lead virtual cross functional Project Solution and Development teams of as many 20 in early project development (Pre-FEED) through FEED and project approval. • Responsible for safety, quality, and operational excellence via efficient process design. • Drives continuous improvement in safety, reliability, cost, quality and productivity. • Recruits and develops project and project development engineers. • Displays a quantitative, fact-based approach to decision making, problem solving, and resource management. • Ensures that companies’ project offerings are the most competitive in the industry. • Travels occasionally (20% expected) as needed. • Collaborate with Executive Leadership, other senior management and stakeholders to ensure the department’s deliverables support business goals • Successfully complete all required trainings. 토목설계,토목시공,건축시공,건축설계,플랜트
